What areas can I get Laser Hair Removal?
You can treat any area that hair grows! Areas include the arms, legs, back, upper lip, sideburns, underarms, back of the neck, abdomen, bikini line, Brazilian, buttocks, chin, feet, toes, and ears and anywhere else that hair is a problem for you.
Am I a candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
Laser Hair Removal can be done on any skin color & hair type, but the biggest qualifying factor is the color of your hair! The light from the laser is attracted to the melanin, or dark pigment, in the hair follicle. This means that dark hair is treated most effectively. So if your hair is red, blonde or gray, this treatment is not effective for you.
How does Laser Hair Removal Work?
Safely and gently eliminate unwanted hair with our advanced laser treatment, DiolazeXL, by permanently destroying the root of hair follicles. Our hair removal technology covers a large treatment area, making treatments convenient and fast. Even better, most patients report little to no pain, due to 3PC Cooling that provides the ultimate in patient comfort. During laser treatment, a diode laser beam is targeted towards the hair follicles. The penetrating energy then heats up the root of the hair, destroying it, which prevents future hair growth.
Is the treatment painful? Thankfully New technology has made this treatment virtually pain free!
How long does the treatment take? Each treatment can take between 5 minutes up to an hour depending on the size of the area being treated.
How frequently do I do my treatments? Treatments can be spaced out every 4-8 weeks ( your Laser Technician will assess this during your treatment as your hair has to be in the correct growth phase.
When will I see results? Multiple treatments are required to achieve permanent hair reduction. This is due to the increased effect of the laser on hair in the early growth stage (anagen). Not all the hairs are in the same phase at a given time.
What can I expect after treatment? The appearance of the treated area following treatment varies from patient to patient, depending on the characteristics of the patient and treatment given. During the treatment, some hairs will shed from the follicle immediately, while the remaining will shed in the following weeks. Transient redness and swelling around the hair follicle may appear immediately after the treatment, but are in fact, positive results indicating the follicle’s response to the treatment. Following the treatment, you will be provided with guidelines, namely in terms of sun exposure
